Things to consider when planning wedding transportation

The most important things to consider when planning wedding transportation. 1. If you want to make sure your bridal party is all together and on time for your wedding, then you will need a stretch limousine to pick them up at ONE location. Make sure you get the bridal party to the wedding venue well before (30 minutes) the schedule ceremony. 2. If you are planning a large bridal party (10 or more), keep in mine you will need a stretch SUV or even a super stretch SUV to carry 12 to 24 in a bridal party. If you have more than 24 in your bridal party, you will need a bus! 3. If you have a large bridal party, consider having the wedding and reception at the same place and close to a hotel where everyone will gather. This will allow a smaller limousine to make several trips to get everyone to the wedding venue. 4. It is always a good idea to setup seperate transportation for the bride and groom, as this will be a stressful enough event without having to deal with the bridal party. You will have plenty of time at the reception to interact with your bridal party. Select a car for the bride, father, mother and/or maid of honor. And select a car for the groom and best man. 5. Don't forget the "Get-Away" car at the end of the evening to take the bride and groom to their honeymoon suite! You will want something fun and fancy for this part of the transportation needs. 6. When it comes to stretch limousines and sedans, you can usually find what you need available about 30 days before your event. However, specialty transportation such as classic cars, luxury Rolls Royce and Trolley buses are very rare, and should be reserved well before (6 months) your event.

Don't Forget the Wedding Get-Away Car!

When planning your special day, don’t forget the Wedding Get-Away Car!
Often the bride and wedding planner considered transportation for the bridal party, but completely forgets about the bride and groom.

The bride will need a separate ride to the ceremony. Maybe with mom and dad. While the groom can tag along with the bridal party or ride with the best man. Weddings can be a stressful time for the bride and groom so, driving yourself is a bad idea! Opt for a wedding car to take the bride and groom to the ceremony. Maybe a luxury sedan, so you can enjoy the trip over to the ceremony.

Also, Don't Forget the Wedding Get-Away Car! After you are married, this will be the first time the two of you will be together as husband and wife. The moment should be share alone, not in the back of a limousine with your bridal party. There will be plenty of time at the reception to bond and mingle with the bridal party and guests.

But wait a minute... How are you getting to your honeymoon suite at the end of the reception? Surely you are not going to drive yourselves? And no, neither dad nor Uncle Bill are in any condition to drive you.

Even if you defer transportation for the wedding, make sure you at least have a get-away car for the end of the evening. Getting to your hotel safely after a night of partying is very important. Remember, it's your wedding night and so far everything has gone well. Don't screw it up by trying to drive yourself!
